The purpose of this study were to analyze and determine the magnitude of the effects of land use changes for the level of potential drought in Sub Krueng Jreue This study held in Sub Jreue Krueng, Aceh Besar. Land use changes in Sub Krueng Jreue on period 2006 - 2013 is of primary forests decreased covers 416.93 ha (1.81%), secondary forest 1612.25 ha (6.99%), agricultural wetlands 15.59 ha (0.07%), and the dry land agriculture 138,15ha (0.60%), while the addition of comprehensive settlement of 18.19 ha (0.08%), savanna 279.61 ha (1.21%) and shrubs thicket 1885.12 ha (8.18%) of the total area of Krueng Jreue.In Krueng Jreue there are two categories of potential drought is low and medium level drought. At the lower level of potential drought with four locations, namely locations SPL 8, 9, 11 and 12, while the medium level of potential drought were found in ten locations: location SPL 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 13 and 14References
